Frequently asked questions

Do I need a visa for Brazil?

The Government of Brazil had reinstated a visa requirement for all U.S. nationals visiting Brazil, but they have extended a waiver until April 10, 2025. This means that U.S. citizens can travel to Brazil without a visa in November of 2024.

In November, Rio de Janeiro typically experiences warm and pleasant weather. Temperatures typically range from around 23°C (73°F) to 28°C (82°F). It's a great time to visit as it's before the peak of the summer heat, with lower chances of rain compared to the earlier months in the year.
